We enjoyed the food, drinks, atmosphere & service. My husband is a BIG eater & we went in so he could enjoy their Tuesday night all-you-can eat Broasted Chicken. He said it was very good & the portion was so large that he didn't get seconds; that is a rare occasion for him. My son ordered the Catfish & really enjoyed it as well as his Bloody Mary. I had the Strawberry Feta Salad, which unfortunately tasted like it had sat under a heat lamp. The strawberries were soggy & were warmer than room temperature. I had been to Moonshine Whiskey on one other occasion & loved the salad, so I was especially disappointed with my meal this time. The food here is much better than it was when this was Fatboys. Overall I really like this place, however, in the corner with the games they have a lobster claw machine game. Apparently, the customer pays $2.00 per attempt & the restaurant will cook the lobster if you catch one. When the game is not in use the claw goes up & down into the tank, apparently to get people's attention. However, the lobsters are all crowded on the edges of the tank in constant fear of the claw. This game is repulsive & I will not go back as long as it is there, which is a shame because I live in the immediate area & would love to have a nice place like this to frequent. I am a meat eater so it may seem hypocritical that I object to this machine, but it just feels wrong.

I wanted to add that I tried their steak and it was really good! It was cooked perfectly and was nice and tender. It can with delicious roasted veggies.

We were given gift cards to this place. I have not been here in over 10 years. Back then it was a different restaurant entirely. We walked in and immediately noticed that the new place was much improved. It had a nice welcoming feel to it. We came mid afternoon, not much happening. Robert Sinclair was the bartender, who also waited on us. From the second Robert spoke, we could tell he was going to be great. Very enthusiastic, upbeat, and personable. He was one step ahead of our needs at all times. In chatting with Robert, he explained how most items are made in house, and the orderliness of the kitchen staff. It really showed in the food. The menu had a lot to offer. They had five or six variations of grilled cheese sandwiches. Absolutely delicious bleu cheese with the wings. As much as I wanted to try one of the grilled cheese sandwiches, I went with Robert's recommendation, a bourbon burger. Ohhh man, this burger was outstanding. I am going to have dreams about it. From the top to bottom, this place was fantastic. If every restaurant had a Robert, I would never eat at home again.

Prices are too high and the food is not that good. I'm sorry, but when moonshine bought the place out, I was hoping for more. The non happy hour prices on beer and cocktails are crazy high for the location, and the food is not any better.

Food is good, and the service is awesome! They have a nice big patio to enjoy in the summer. The fries and burgers are really good. I suggest trying the Poutine too, it's excellent. I don't know how they go about hiring their wait staff but they have about the best looking staff around haha.

This place is WAY out of my normal hang out spots, but decided to stop by here after a round of golf at Hidden Haven (where I did not want to be part of another weird meat raffle at their bar. Really??? meat raffles? I'm not from here so maybe I'm the only one that finds that weird) Anyways, was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and noticed a fancy looking whiskey bar elegantly decorated in a cowboy theme. Happy hour was going on so beer was cheap and so were the Moonshine shots. I hadn't had it before and I was surprised to see how good it was. It's only 20% alcohol and is flavored so it doesn't taste as your regular whisky would. Needless to say, I wasn't able to drive very well after we left. Food was good, had a ham and cheese sandwich with fries and maybe it was because I was drunk and starving but I thought it was awesome - big boy portions so beware if you're health conscious. Whenever I'm back around the area I'll definitely be coming back to this place. Good value overall.

Some of the best fries around. Great meal for the area. Breakfast is good but skip the same-old-boring-buffet and order from menu.

STILL AN UPSCALE BIKER BAR Located in the old Fat Boy's location ,this still appears to be a biker bar. It has been remodeled, and has a very different look! So as soon as I walk in, I know this is not gonna go well when I see the 2 bartenders. As a single ahem mature gal sitting at the bar, service is always hit or miss. MISS !!! The short shorted bartenders walked right past me to wait on a gal who sat down after I did. I hate when that happens, really pisses me off. Finally, got my fav flavor of beer and a menu. Ordered, and waited a super long time for a sandwich, even though the place was barely half full. Then, 4 guys sit down next to me right off the golf course and they get their beers in 20 seconds. So, to say I was unhappy with the service is an understatement. Moving on, the menu is not your garden variety bar menu. It is rather interesting with some unique combinations. I got the pulled pork grilled cheese (yup) with bbq sauce and grilled onions. Yum Yum. However, I missed the part where it said served with chips. I wish the bartender who couldn't get away from me fast enough would have offered the fry/tot option. I was pissy by then anyway. While the flavor of this fancy grilled cheese was awesome, the bread was hardly grilled at all. But it was all hot and melty. ??? Then again, at this point I am pretty pissed. Did I mention I was pissed?? So I will chalk up the long wait for a grilled cheese with a half a bag of potato chips to new cooks still getting used to a new menu and kitchen. There are a few more items on the menu I would love to try out. The servers however, that I watched, seemed to mostly be young inexperienced girls. I did notice one gal who really seemed to know what the heck she was doing. I will say that all the folks there pulling in on bikes were totally low key and cool. Some families were in there with little kids too, so it is a family place too. The only finheimers were from the 4 yuppie type guys that sat next to me. Hmmm I loved the mason jar whiskeys behind the bar. There is a drink menu with interesting ingredients and names. While the specialty drinks weren't cheap, you could get a shot of any of the mason jar bourbons for only $3. Cool. Maybe next time when I am not so pissed. The wine list is there, but don't expect much. It IS a "moonshine" bar, not a wine bar. :-) I H O P E T H I S P L A C E L A S T S L O N G E R !!!!!!!!

Ate here for lunch yesterday. Had the philly (which was recommended) I thought it was great! The atmosphere was pleasing and the service was prompt and attentive. My only gripe would be the burger my son ordered 'pink' came out well done. Keep it up guys!!

I live right down the road so I have been here several times. Food is great, I really like the menu much better then any of their competition. The moonshine is also good here. Service at the tables have always been good, however the bartenders do not seem to share that. They are not very attentive at all. I have went in for a "couple beers" a few times and left because I sit with an empty bottle after 1.

Been there just a few times and have no complaint at all on the food. Had the fish Taco and they were wonderful with a little kick in them. Last night had a Bourbon Burger - asked for it medium well and it was a lot more *pink* then I would have eaten, but did and it was good. Their food options are not your typical Sports Bar food, they have a flare.
